Tools for the serious VJ

Strong visuals used in worship services – especially services aimed at youth can have a huge impact. I’ve been very impressed with Edirol’s video line and my team uses two PR50’s for video playback – both for news style items and to "enhance" the worship experience. Arkaos has "killer" software that we are now playing with – to futher enhance our youth services. I was turned on to Arkaos in this article from Apple.

A great site (that my buddy, George, sent me to), Create Digital Music points to a new product from Korg, the Kaptivator – adding another tool to the VJ arsenal.

It’s all good.

Check out Edirol’s Worship page. And if you’re looking for great footage, check out Artbeats – and don’t be turned off by their truly ugly web design. Good grief!
