Google’s mission is to organize the world’s information, but much of that information isn’t yet online. Google Print aims to get it there by putting book content where you can find it most easily – right in your Google search results.
Google wants to work with Book Publishers – get access to the content on-line and then niche market products to that audience. Profits can be significant in the Long Tail. Design Books might have Google ad links to Apple computers and Adobe Software. Mystery Writer Elizabeth George‘s books might have links to British Airways or Thomas Cooke Travel. Worship books might have links to Hillsongs.(God help us!)
