On the Road – Dulcinea and back

Dulcinea2Dulcinea, Don Quixote’s fair maiden drew us to the Sunny South this past weekend. Chapel Dulcinea at the Wizard Academy, that is. We piled into our Honda built SUV (made in the town where my mother lives, no less) and left the Canadian mid-west for Austin, TX.

Wizard Academy is a dream being built by Roy and Penny Williams with the involvement of hundreds of others. Dedicated to Education in the advancement of Communication Arts, this wonderful campus is about 30 minutes south of Austin. Chapel Dulcinea is the first building completed.

The weekend event featured sessions with Roy, Architect Marley Porter, Art Marketer and Wizard Partner, Sonja Howle and Dr. Richard Grant who is one of the most wonderful communicators you will ever hear. The sessions took place in the Williams Marketing/Wizard of Ads Tuscan Hall on property adjacent to Wizard Academy.

Sunday morning featured a service in Chapel Dulcinea led by Keith Miller – a well matured wise one who alone was worth the drive to Austin.

Liam, Rylan, Kaili, Imbi and I were all powerfully impacted by the weekend. I will share a more detailed response to it when we finally arrive home.

Written in a hotel in Ottawa, Kansas. You’ve got to love Wi-Fi!
Note: Dr. Grant has two links in his name – check them both out.
