Podcasting Radio Drama

In a previous post on books I talked about "dying radio drama". But to paraphrase Monty Python "it’s not dead yet". Podcasting has the potential to breath new life into "radio dramas" ("radio-like" would be more accurate & more awkward). Inexpensive multi-track software, cheap or "found" sound effects, music from Garageband or Acid all make the production process cheap and fun. Writers can begin to again paint great dramas, hilarious comedies or simply wonderful stories across the two hemispheres of their listeners brains.
