The New York Times (that great font of credibility) takes a swipe at Seth and he responds. I agree with Steve Rubel who says Seth’s best line is:

Conversations among the members of your marketplace happen whether you like it or not. Good marketing encourages the right sort of conversations.

But this would be a close 2nd:

Good marketers tell a story.

And 3rd:

Living and breathing an authentic story is the best way to survive in an conversation-rich world.

Read them all.
