Sage Advice

SagescreenThe Twits have suggested an interesting RSS Reader for Firefox that I’ve begun to use and think that it may replace BlogBridge as my Reader of choice. Check out Sage here. I exported my feeds via OPML in BlogBridge and easily imported them into Sage. Click on the pic for a larger image.

  1. Hey, Bill! I am one of the guys behind BlogBridge 🙂 Don’t leave us just yet – we’ve got some very cool stuff that will be out in the next weekly (this week sometime.) Like SmartFeeds, with direct integration with Flickr, Technorati, Delicious; as well as fancy shmancy qery feeds and unread management. And don’t forget BlogStarz! :-)))

Seriously I would greatly appreciate hearing the things you like better about Sage that may or may not lead you to switch to it. Please write!

  2. Pito,
Thanks for the note. BlogBridge is a great piece of code – with lots about it I like. However, I like the fact that Sage works within Firefox – which I constantly have open – and doesn’t require me to open another program. That being said, I will continue to use BlogBridge as well and I do like the BlogStarz aspect. I look forward to all the “fancy shmancy stuff” you’ve got coming up.
    Cheers
    Bill
