If you’ve been doing a lot of surfing lately, you have probably come across references to del.icio.us – and wondered what the heck it is – unless of course you’re already using it.

"del.icio.us is a social bookmarks manager. It allows you to easily add sites you like to your personal collection of links, to categorize those sites with keywords, and to share your collection not only between your own browsers and machines, but also with others."
(From the del.icio.us about doc – via the Wikipedia entry)

The wikipedia entry goes on to say:

Everything posted to del.icio.us is publicly viewable; it is not a tool for storing private bookmark collections.

My bookmarks in both Firefox and Safari have become unwieldly. I’m really more interested in themes, memes and trends – and del.icio.us allows me to track them. Do you want to see the latest trends – checkout del.icio.us/popular/trends. Do you want to see what I’m looking at – del.icio.us/kinnon. Or track the posts at kinnon.tv – del.icio.us/kinnonDOTtv.

UPDATE: All the posts at kinnon.tv have now been tagged at del.icio.us/kinnonDOTtv. However, the tags are not in chronological order – they will be from here on in. Enjoy. Tasty!
