Too Hot to Type

The summer place that beckoned us in the Spring is now home for the next seven weeks. And for the first time ever, we are actually thinking of installing air-conditioning. Temps have been in the high 90’s, low 100’s with the humidex. Fans blowing the moist southern air, provide only a small degree of relief. The lake is about 74 degrees, which may be comfortable but it’s also the write right temp to grow copious amounts of lake weeds and algae, while starving the fish of oxygen. But I’ll quit my whining now.

The next phase in our life has begun. At some point in the future I will tell you the whole story of our Centre City Canada adventure. It is a story worth telling – we just need a few other things to fall into place before we begin the tale. Suffice to say that it will shock some, intrigue others and reinforce certain stereotypes in a few. Stay tuned.
