It’s a Conspiracy of Collaboration

I’ve finally finished the Beta version of my short book, The Networked Conspiracy – The Power of Us to Change Our World. It’s off shortly to a group of friends to critique.

If I’d written the book in Writely, JotSpot Live or the just announced Writeboard – my friends could have easily collaborated on the project. (Caveat: None of these killer on-line programs are word processors in the traditional sense of the word.) 37Signals, the creators of Writeboard are the folks behind two of my favourite Web 2.0 “programs” – Basecamp and Backpack.

The collaboration tools are in place for us to dramatically change the world we live. All we need to do is conspire to make it happen.

I’m off to Pittsburgh for a few days and will blog from there as I have a chance.
