Terry Heaton

I’ve been reading Terry’s PoMo Blog for a number of years now. His insight and wisdom into the web and it’s impact on traditional broadcasting has been a constant source of education for me. Like many of us, Terry has gone through his own expensive life experiences in his middle age. Part of that “experience” has left him without Medical Insurance. (In spite of it’s many inadequacies, I am thankful for the Canadian Health Care System which is accessible to all.)

Terry has to have surgery to remove a tumour that we all hope and pray is benign. However, there are still major expenses to be covered for this medical treatment. At Jeff Jarvis’ prompting, Terry has put up a “Surgery Tip Jar” where we can help out. Please consider coming along side Terry.

  1. I think if the U.S. worked on the healthcare system we can avoid situations like these.
