One of the books I’m reading and enjoying is Jackie Huba and Ben McConnell’s “Creating Customer Evangelists: How Loyal Customers Become a Volunteer Sales Force”. Jackie and Ben have a great blog, Church of the Customer.
A few weeks ago, Jackie wrote of her need to replace her aging Dell desktop and dysfunctional Sony Vaio laptop. Based on the anti-Dell meme started by Jeff Jarvis, she wasn’t about to buy a Dell laptop. A number of us extolled the virtues of Powerbooks – as customer evangelists for Apple ‘twould seem.
