A month ago, I posted on Frightened TV Execs, Apple & IPTV. ABC/Disney had joined the Apple fold. How far behind would the others be? NBC was assimilated today.

NBC Universal and Apple Computer have signed a deal for NBC to become the second network to offer TV shows downloadable through Apple’s iTunes music and video store.

The NBC deal will add 11 more TV shows to Apple’s video catalog, bringing the total number of shows available through iTunes to 16. The shows that NBC is making available include “Law and Order,” “Monk,” “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” and “Late Night with Conan O’Brien.”

UPDATE: Read this Think Secret story for more on where Apple is headed with IPTV.
