Nuvvo – Online Education made easy

It’s always fascinating to see what comes out of the University of Waterloo (think RIM and hundreds of Microsoft software engineers).

NuvvoTwo UW computer science grads (plus a UofT Engineering Grad) have started Savvica, a Learning Management Systems company. Nuvvo is the lite version of their system. Ajax based, Nuvvo is a "free" tool for building on-line training courses. From Savvica’s site:

The Personal LMS features enterprise-grade content creation, course management, and grading tools. Use our powerful, usable UI to build courses block by block with rich text, multimedia, and files all integrated on the same page. Grade and record quizzes automatically, or provide extensive feedback.

I’ve already pointed a teacher of mine at this system. It looks very interesting.
