MySpaced iTunes for Indies

MySpace is setting up a service that will allow independent artists like my sons’ band, Substance Over Style, to sell MP3s directly to their MySpaced fans. Wired has the story.

How big a piece of the pie the Rupert Murdoch owned MySpace will take in the tune-selling has not yet been decided. And initially it may only be for US-based indy artists.
