My Thanksgiving

It’s Thanksgiving weekend here in the Frozen North. (Toronto will hit 70º today.) We had a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner with 22 people on Snake Island last night – and then crossed the water with a Harvest Moon to light our path. Home in the city for the rest of this glorious weekend. (Doing Thanksgiving for 9 here @ Chez Kinnon this afternoon.)

I love the words to Don Henley’s song, My Thanksgiving

Now the trouble with you and me, my friend
Is the trouble with this nation
Too many blessings
Too little appreciation

  1. A blessed thanksgiving to you and your family, Bill!
My Canadian theology professor and his wife are away this week…and I suspected it must be because of the holidays!
These dual citizen people sure have it good: TWO countries to appreciate — : )

  2. Happy Thanksgiving!
