I wrote about a number of on-line competitors to Microsoft Word over a year ago. One of them, Zohowriter now appears almost ready for primetime. Check out the Zoho website to see Zohowriter and their other Office tools, Zoho Show (a PPT competitor), Zoho Sheet (think Excel), Zoho Office (Outlook on steroids) as well as their entire suit of productivity tools.

Note I created this in Zohowriter and published it to TypePad from the document. Unfortunately all the links disappeared. I’ve added links and tags in ecto. Zohowriter is cool, but perhaps as a blogging tool, barely ready for primetime. (It needs tag tools and title tools – and the links need to work.)

  1. Thanks for using Zoho Writer and posting about Zoho, Bill!

We will look into why the links didn’t come across (it usually works well) and correct it soon.
