I Need a Sunny Day

Can’t remember when I last saw the sun. Oh, right. It was when the plane burst through the layer of clouds that enveloped Boise. On Friday. Just before I turned my eyes back to the book I was reading.

It’s interesting how I react to the lack of sun. How a dormant depression awakens lethargy. And it feels like Toronto has been shrouded in grey for weeks. (There have been a few moments of sun. I probably missed them.)

I need a sunny day.
A foretaste of the land of cloudless days.
The land of the uncloudy sky.

Maybe tomorrow.
