Roxburgh in Toronto

About fifty folk showed up last night for the Missional Leadership Conversation with Alan Roxburgh here in Toronto. It was a good evening, though I confess I’m always surprised by the people who profusely look forward to coming and then never show – that would be their loss in this situation.

Alan spoke about missional leadership within a more traditional church context – referring in part to his conversations with Steve Taylor of Opawa Baptist Church in Christchurch, NZ. (Alan has a very good Allelon Netcast with Steve Taylor.) The Q&A time was lively with some great questions answered. Rather than go into great details, let me suggest you listen to the podcast/netcast of the event that will be up at Resonate and Allelon in the next few weeks. (I’ll let you now when it’s available.)

Darryl Dash and the good people at Richview Baptist are to be commended for creating a warm and welcoming space – and Darryl was, as ever, a gracious host.
