Vancouver

Imbi and I are in Vancouver for this week. Flew in yesterday afternoon on a wonderful, small Embraer 190 aircraft – one of the new aircraft @ Air Canada. It’s quickly becoming my favourite regional jet – with lots of room, great storage overhead and very comfortable seating.

Woke up at 5am this morning to get ready for the Allelon Summer Institute, Vancouver edition. This SI will be led by Alan Roxburgh, Alan Hirsch and Cam Roxburgh. (There must be some symmetry here – two Alans and two Roxburghs – Cam is Al’s nephew and is the team leader for multi-congregation Southside Community Church in the lower mainland.)

I’ll attempt to keep you updated on the events both here and at the new Allelon Missional Journey blog. That will depend on whether or not we have internet access @ UBC.
