The name suggests wonderful off-beat music with people joyously dancing – but it’s actually a beautiful location in the Columbia Gorge in Washington State. If Andrew Menzies would share them with me, I’d be able to show you the shots he took as we drove here from the Portland airport on Saturday.

I’m here with Allelon and the Mission in Western Culture project. I find myself surrounded by some of the finest missional minds on the planet…and feel completely out of my depth. Fortunately, I’m able to hide behind my camera – an area where I do have a little more depth.

I hope to share some of it with you later this week.

    We stayed at Skamania for our anniversary once. Beautiful.
