And I so appreciate Brother Hutchens pointing that out to me this morning,

…egalitarianism is a heresy and no orthodox Christian can be an egalitarian.

  2. It seems to me that Hutchen’s definition of egalitarian might be a part of the confusion. There are egalitarians that may embrace the human->woman/man model, but I think there are plenty who take on a different-but-equal model as well, and as equality is the objective, I think both fit under the large umbrella of egalitarianism.

  4. I think he said that anything that disagrees with his Reformed Scholasticism interpretation of scripture is heretical. If so, then it is only heretical within Reformed Scholasticism, but not biblically heretical unless he thinks that his theology and scripture say the same thing. Very clever. He should be a lawyer.
