Speaking of Super Freaks… The Misery of Bent Toadley

MiseryofBentToadley.jpg

Bent Toadley returns. I can barely contain myself from typing words that will have Imbi washing my mouth out with soap.

In less than a year, this fraud has thrown his wife and kids under the bus, admitted to adultery, had the Annointing Apostolic Profits running for cover and now He’s Back!!!

Zombie-Christendom @ work.

In……credible.

Anyone that has anything to do with this man needs to be committed… to a psych ward.

Update: Dave Faulkner has a much more gracious post up, apparently prompted by this one. I respond in his comments. And Maggie Dawn responds to Dave (and seems to refer to this post as “cynical or rude”).

  1. I didn’t know about any of this (the wheels coming off, that is). I’ve been politely ignoring those friends of mine who have been raving about him for the past 2 years.

But here’s my confession: I feel a deep sense of schadenfreude about the news that he’s crashed and burned.

    Is that bad?

  2. After looking the word up, I’m afraid I felt the same way. The problem is that the Clown is Back! Which totally creeps me out. To think I once read Rick Joyner’s books and thought of visiting Morningstar. ‘Twill be a cold day in Hades before that ever happens.

  3. I’d pretty much ignored all this until I saw the little video. Now I’m sure we’re going to re-evaluate some of our support of Morningstar. We’ve tried to be a good neighbor to Zao Water here but this is too much for me.

  4. Bill,

Your piece and the relevant links have had me thinking and worrying at this issue again these past three days. Eventually I’ve come up with this.”>http://bigcircumstance.com/2009/06/26/todd-bentley-what-does-restorative-discipline-and-repentance-look-like/>this. Thanks for pointing me again to this deeply troubling issue.
