Better Parenting via Facebook

Imbi and I are up north at the place we call The Hedges. Kaili and her brothers are in Toronto at the Loft.

Here's a Facebook "conversation" from earlier today.

(Disclaimer: All Kinnon Kids are now adults – not abandoned.)

Bill Kinnon: Sounds like a perfect day to CLEAN YOUR BEDROOM. 🙂

jhfb.jpgJon Harris (Family friend and the kids' former youth pastor): I could hear the sound of the parental hammer dropping from Gerrard and Coxwell.

Kaili Kinnon: Amazing no? Parenting via facebook.

Bill Kinnon: Much easier than in person, methinks.

  1. hahaha … this happens in our house!!!

Lillie upstairs on FB when she should be doing schoolwork and …. you get the rest.

    I think it’s all very amusing …

  2. LOL. Too bad only one of my kids can read yet! (BTW neither knows what FB is, and I intend to keep it that way as long as possible, say another 10 minutes.)

  3. I got “admonished” by my dear daughter for this blog post. (Via FB, of course.) Doesn’t seem to matter that the discussion was broadcast to her 7 million FB followers, of course.

You have much to look forward to. Pray hard. 🙂

  4. My sons friended, but my daughter no way. She cut me off at the knees as soon as my Twitter updates began to appear in my Facebook profile. I keep sending her a friend request, so far, no luck.
